Gervais plead guilty to charges of unlawful use of military uniforms and unlawful use of military decoration while dressed as a sergeant while attending Remembrance Day services at the National War Memorial in 2014.
Two charges of impersonating a public officer were withdrawn.
He received one year of probation and ordered to perform 50 hours of community service through a restorative justice program.
Of course, he has nice wedding pictures too. Proving the Remembrance Day event wasn’t the first time he had pretended to be a soldier…
