Byron S Rodriguez – He never visited Ellen’s Bar but, he had his nose amputated!

Former Master Corporal Byron s. Rodriguez (BRod/Lord Byron)

BRod was legitimately in Afghanistan twice with the Canadian Army, but as is usually the case, that wasn’t enough. Rodriguez claims that he was there three times. He claims that he was a paratrooper, but there is no record of him attending the training or serving in the Canadian Airborne Regiment, but he has the tattoo and t shirt, so it’s legit, eh?

Rodriguez was awarded the “Sacrifice Medal” (analogous to the Purple Heart for our US friends) because someone threw a rock towards his vehicle and hit him in the face, he used his own hands to reset his nose. He insisted on carrying on with the mission and delayed his medical treatment for five hours to allow other soldiers to be brought to safety while he standing in a pile of smoking’ brass cases and disintegrating links behind his gun.

When he did get medical attention, the attending medic used a computer to learn how to stitch his nose back together, Rodriguez said.

“Lord” Byron says he, had his nose “ampuated”, received a Gun Shot Wound to his leg, and contracted Taliban “cooties” which rendered him unemployable in medical laboratories!

He has also claimed to be a member of the Spanish Royal Family, is a multi-millionaire, attended UCLA on a baskeball scholarship, owns a luxury yacht, earned a Phd in Psychology, represented Canada as an Olympic athlete.

Not surprisingly, and mirroring what occurs with some regularity in the US, he has surfaced as the Vice President of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 70 in North Battleford, Saskatchewan.

The significant holes in his military records could be due to a series of long overlooked, administrative errors or, you can come to your own conclusion. However, his weak apology, and willingly coughing up the unearned medals and insignia has convinced us that he’s just another lying sack of shit!

Mr Rodriguez was contacted by SVC and given the opportunity to surrender the bogus items and apologize. A representative of SVC took the pictured items into his possession and arranged for their disposal by the authorities in Ottawa.

Dave MacKenzie, he’s a trucker but, he ain’t a parachuting, black ops, Intelligence Services Colonel!

We were asked to have a look at this individual’s military service claims after he posted a video rant slagging a legitimate veteran on his Face Book page – Canadian Trucking Magazine. The video rant was removed from FB however, SVC has a copy of the entire steamin’ mess!

MacKenzie accused a former military cook of being a poser as he had displayed the shoulder flashes of two of Canada’s most famous infantry Regiments (the PPCLI and The Royal Canadian Regiment) on his cut.

The cook‘s regimental brothers and sisters have absolutely no concerns with him wearing the insignia. So, why did MacKenzie take issue?

Is he deflecting any scrutiny away from his claims of service as an intelligence officer who jumped into Sarajevo, BiH in order to run black ops?

Or, is ”the Colonel“ attempting to shift attention away from the US Army jump wings that he has never qualified for?

“Little Black Devil”

“I wear what I earned”

By all accounts, Mr MacKenzie has had a most amazing life, he’s been many places & he’s done many thing however, we’ll focus, as always, on his military narrative. The question now becomes, was he actually a trained Infantryman in the Royal Winnipeg Rifles and a qualified Intelligence Operator in the Winnipeg Detachment of 6 Intelligence Company as he has claimed?

Many Police Departments / Security companies wear military style rank however, there isn’t a single police force in Canada that uses the rank of Colonel with exception of the CAF’s Military Police…

You were never a Colonel, yet you have claimed that on many occasions which caused you considerable difficulty with the US Patriot Guard Riders and several other veteran’s riding clubs in the Winnipeg area.

Wearing the badges doesn’t make one a Colonel, nice tie though…

In fact, we offered Mr MacKenzie a courtesy that he didn’t offer to a decorated veteran before initiating his vile FB Live rant against him & his military service.

SVC has been in contact with MacKenzie and provided him with an opportunity to sort this situation by him providing independently verifiable proof of his military service. Even a serial numbered Intelligence Branch coin would have worked…

It’s really quite simple, he has stated on numerous occasions that he was a senior military officer and has been photographed wearing US parachutist’s insignia on at least two occasions. Prove it!

Time to cowboy up Mr MacKenzie, either provide proof of your claims or apologize to the greater veterans community for your shitbaggery & your personal attack on a legitimate, decorated veteran.

Donald “uncle donnie” LEMMOND aka Tyrell

Donald Lemmond aka TYRELL spoke at a Remembrance Day activity at a Local college, telling the audience that he had served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He wore a vast spectrum of medals including a Silver Star, a POW Medal and a Purple Heart.

Lemmond also told the audience how he had served in Afghanistan and Iraq and he had retired from the military in 2007 as a “full captain” in the medical corps. As it turns out, he spent some time in the reserves in Canada. Initially, Lemmond said that his cousin had awarded him the medals, but now he admits that he bought them and just pinned them on because “I thought it would give me a little more authority in the job that I was performing for the legion that I was in….”

Watch the video of his speech @ this link https://youtu.be/t_srCqXoqnU

The federal government has implemented new rules covering how veterans are invited to citizenship ceremonies, following the discovery of fake servicemen last year at Remembrance Day ceremonies in Hamilton, Ont. and Ottawa. Citizen and Immigration Canada (CIC) says it has has implemented a number of safeguards, including having CIC officials liaise with regional veterans’ associations, verify their records, and prevent dishonourably discharged veterans from participating. “The steps above will ensure that [Canadian Armed Forces] members and veterans may continue to play an important role in welcoming new citizens to the Canadian family, while ensuring that incidents such as the one referenced does not happen again,” said CIC spokeswoman Nancy Caron.

Donald Lemmond received a suspended sentence and 12 months probation after pleading guilty to unlawful use of military uniforms and medals.

James Wellheiser – “Dances with shit nickels”

Wellheiser was confronted about his medallic fakery on 23rd of January 2017 by a small group of legitimate veterans/war fighters. He quietly surrendered the self awarded US/RVN medals and insignia for disposal by an appropriate authority…

Ashley ZEDNER – Bogus Vietnam / Cyprus vet

Stolen Valour Canada received a number of inquiries based on photos of him wearing Canadian Medals and both Canadian and US parachutist insignia.

Through the use of open source research including websites, newspaper articles, photographic images, searchable data bases of medal recipients and extracts from online military documents in Canada, SVC has found Zedner has made the following claims.

*Joined the Army in 1968,

*He was as a “Gunnery Sergeant” in the US Army in Vietnam where he was wounded in action,

*Claims to have been an Infantryman with 1st Bn The RCR, his 11 years of service included a tour with the “Peace Corp” in Cyprus,

*Was a fully qualified parachutist and proudly wears Canadian and US jump wings along with military free fall / HALO wings,

*He appears to forgotten his Canadian Peace Keeping Service Medal which would logically accompany the UNFICYP Medal,

*There is no evidence of a Purple Heart Medal despite his public claims, and

*Zedner also wears he the ubiquitous Queen’s Golden Jubilee Medal without being on the list of recipients (GG.ca)…

Prior to investing any research effort into what could become an unfounded wild goose chase, we contacted Mr Zedner, on 2 November 2017, in order to provide him with an opportunity to sort out the reported situation.

What we have learned:

*Zedner was in his school’s audio-visual club in 1968, making it quite difficult to be in the US Army as he has claimed!

*He is NOT a US Army combat wounded veteran,

*He never served in Vietnam,

He was an Infantryman in a Toronto based Royal Regiment of Canada in the 1970s,

*He was never trained as a parachutist on either side of the border,

*He has no entitlement to the Eight Pointed Star of The RCR,

*He has no lawful entitlement to the UNFICYP Medal nor the Queen’s Golden Jubilee Medal.

Through an intermediary, ex Corporal / Mr Ashley William ZEDNER has now surrendered the medals and insignia that he wore without lawful authority (11 Jan 2018). The surrendered items include a maroon beret, RCR hat badge, US and Canadian parachutist wings, Military Free-fall / HALO wings and the UN Forces in Cyprus Medal.

Arrangements will be made to have the items disposed of in an appropriate manner.

He did not surrender the Queen’s Golden Jubilee Medal.

Unfinished Business!

Remember this poser who self identified as a war criminal?

Daniel Howard WHITESELL
Windsor, Ontario

Whitesell said that “his team would enter the villages in the middle of the night, and that if a teenager or child, the same age as the students he was speaking to had seen him, that he had to silence them by any means necessary to avoid giving up their position, alluding to the fact that he had killed innocent children during his service.”

http://stolenvalour.ca/index.php/2018/12/16/daniel-howard-whitesell-is-he-a-special-forces-cwo-rsm-or-a-navy-reserve-bin-rat/

In a series of  emails, which we have not responded to, Whitesell has demanded that we remove the posts which detailed his medallic fuckery™ while portraying himself to be a highly decorated special forces operator. He has also threatened SVC with legal action and he’s now engaged a lawyer and will initiate a 400 Thousand dollar lawsuit against us. Apparently, Whitesell holds the belief that we are harassing him by not removing the documentary evidence of his bogus military service from our social media platforms…

So, how did we become aware of his shameful tales of murdering innocent children in the performance of his duties?

*Where did he believe the photographic evidence of his military themed fairytales that are showcased on our platforms originated?

*Did he think that his bogus persec / persec demands directed at 600 school kids would be followed?

SVC has supporters in every region of the country and they share our approach of separating posers, fakes and embellishers from their their bogus medals, uniforms, insignia and lies.

The “RSM’s” shadow box of shameful stories…Who’s picture has he used to pump his tires?

Although the plaque is difficult to read in the image; the “RSM” makes a number of interesting claims!

What we do know, Whitesell was never member of the former Canadian Forces Medical Service now Royal Canadian Medical Service or the Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry. He has never served in Canadian Special Operations Force Command and he certainly wasn’t a member of the Clan of the Big Badges!

Whitesell attempted to purchase a replica medals group from a reputable medal mounting service claiming that he had sent his originals to the National War Museum. The company declined his business…

However, Whitesell’s limited service in the Navy Reserves should have taught him that honesty & integrity are critical personal attributes of a professional service member. However, his willingness to stand in the blood of our wounded and fallen for personal financial gain indicates that he knows absolutely nothing of what it takes to be soldier!

Perhaps, Whitesell should provide proof that the 150 dollar honorarium he received for his Remembrance Day performance was donated to “the children’s hospital” as he has claimed?

His reprehensible conduct has insulted the dedicated service and incredible sacrifices made by every member of the CAF and their families.

And, for that there is a consequence…

SVC will provide former Ordinary Seaman Daniel Howard WHITESELL of Windsor, Ontario an opportunity to take full ownership of this situation and publicly apologize, via our platforms, for his reprehensible actions. He knows how to contact us…

Lest We Forget

Peter PASANEN – Not a wounded Vietnam hero, just a Deserter…

Mister Peter (Pekka Tapio) PASANEN of Burnaby, BC

Pasanen was a member of both the 1st and 2nd Bns of the Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry and a Cold War veteran who earned the Special Service Medal (NATO) for service in Europe. He was also a member of the Seaforth Highlanders, a Vancouver based reserve infantry unit.

As a Private in the PPCLI

Pasanen 1966, Canadian Forces (Europe)

Then one day, he makes the decision to embellish his career narrative & claim Vietnam service with the US Army. Although, he’s technically a US Army “Veteran” he’s a deserter and has no lawful entitlement to the Bronze Star, the Purple Heart & the Combat Infantry Badge…

We contacted Mr Pasanen, during the Summer of 2017, in order to provide him with an opportunity to sort to the situation reading his Vietnam claims. He told us via email that he had been drafted by the United States, he went AWOL from Fort Ord,CA, received a Less than Honourable Discharge and wore the US medals, less the National Defense Service Medal, and basic parachutist wings without lawful authority.

Given his claim of being drafted by the US, SVC then asked our US counterparts at This Ain’t Hell (www.thisainthell.us) for their expert assistance in securing Pasanen’s US Army records under a Freedom of Information Access request.

The records tell that Pasanen was less than truthful with us.

Mr Pasanen had legitimate military service in the Canadian Army during the Cold War, that’s something in which he should have taken great pride.

Pasanen was “legitimately” awarded the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal however, his name was misspelled as PARSANEN on the GG’s web site…

Now, it’s time for him to heed the advice of General Douglas McArthur and just fade away…

The Great Imposter of Vernon Cadet Camp – Major (Ret’d) Steven A. MARTENS CD

Major (Ret’d) Steven A. MARTENS CD

CADET INSTRUCTOR CADRE

The GREAT IMPOSTER of VERNON ARMY CADET CAMP!

While serving as a Senior Officer with Regional Cadet Support Unit (Pacific) and during employment at Vernon Army Cadet Camp, he wore the following medals and insignia without lawful authority.

  • The Order of St John,
  • The Canadian Peacekeeping Service Medal,
  • The UN Force in Cyprus Medal,
  • The UN Emergency Force II,
  • The Fire Services Exemplary Service Medal, and
  • The Canadian Forces parachute insignia.

Mr Martens was awarded the Canadian Forces Decoration for long service and “good conduct” This is his sole lawful medallic entitlement.

He claims he was “verbally” reprimanded for his fakery and allowed to submit a request for his voluntary release from the CAF in July of 2013. He then slipped quietly out the back gate when he should have faced charges under s419 CCC / s129 NDA.

So, the question becomes, why was this matter not dealt with in an open, transparent and public manner?

He certainly wore the medals and insignia in public!

“I am very ashamed and embarrassed for my actions and admit that I put up uniform items to which I was not entitled to put up. I offer no excuse other than I totally knew better and was galactically stupid for doing so. This was a very expensive decision on my part that resulted in being disciplined and having to resign from the military”

Mr S Martens
